About Flor De Luna Therapy
Meet Roxanne Palmer, LCSW-S
Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor
My Story
You deserve a space where all of who you are is seen, honored, and supported. I am a deeply devoted Latina therapist who specializes in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, Black, Indigenous, Latine, Asian and other people of color, and people living with HIV. Whether you're exploring identity, healing from trauma, or seeking a therapist who understands the impact of systemic oppression, I'm here to walk with you...without judgment and with deep respect for your lived experience.
While my expertise lies in working with marginalized communities, I welcome all who seek a space of understanding, transformation, and self-discovery. My approach is client-centered and grounded in intersectionality; ensuring that cultural identity, systemic oppression, and personal history are not just acknowledged but honored as vital pieces of the healing journey. Together through therapy, you may find the strength to rise, the space to let go, and the courage to step into your own light.
I view healing as a sacred unfolding: an act of resilience, renewal and trust in one's own rhythm. Just like the flor de luna (moonflower) blooms in the quiet of the night, healing does not always happen in the daylight of certainty. It emerges in stillness, in moments of struggle, in the courage to grow even when the world is dark. I would be honored to walk with you on your healing journey.
A Little About Me
I was raised in San Antonio and have proudly called the Houston area home since the late 1990s. I deeply value my Mexican heritage and the traditions that have shaped who I am — both as a person and as a therapist.
Outside of the therapy room, I'm a lifelong San Antonio Spurs fan and a Houston Texans fan. In my downtime I love to read, watch movies, stream shows, work on puzzles and crafts, and listen to a wide variety of music. I enjoy having fun and getting together with family and friends.
I bring that same warmth, humor, and genuine personality into my work. I strive to create a therapeutic space where you will feel safe, comfortable, and truly at ease — because healing happens best when you feel like yourself.

I cultivate a therapeutic space where individuals can root themselves in self-compassion, shed the weight of past wounds, and bloom at their own pace.
My work is grounded in intersectionality — meaning I honor the full complexity of your identity, including the ways that culture, systemic oppression, and personal history shape your experience. You will never have to explain or justify who you are in this space.
